No matter what tech savvy toy you got for Christmas this year, you are no doubt already filling it up with apps. Here are some apps to help you with that impending new years resolution that you really want to keep this year.
The number on the scale isn’t an accurate picture of your health. To get that number you need a BMI or Body Mass Index Calculator, which tells you more accurately how much fat you have. If you focus more on this number and on having a healthy BMI rather than the number on just the number on the scale you will not only be healthier but also happier in the long run. Couch to 5k
Everyone knows running is one of the most effective fat burning exercises. You can’t just go from doing nothing to running in a marathon however. That is where a couch to 5k app comes in handy. Easing into running not only helps you build endurance and prevent injury but it also helps you learn to love doing it as well. Endomondo Sports Tracker
If you love apps that keep you connected at all times with your friends then this is the app with you. Not only can you track your workout with this app but you can connect with your friends and get live pep-talks from them via text which is then read out loud to you seconds later. You can also see your friends workouts in real time, race against a friends time and post your own workouts to your timeline. This app has a ton of features that don’t include social media as well, including keeping a log of your music playlists, tracking your heart-rate, mapping routes, customize your main screen and so much more. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a fast way to burn fat. A HIIT timer allows you to set intervals for 30 seconds for example with 10 seconds rest in between exercises. You can find a great free one for available for most phones and some even have rewards for completed workouts.
